PDFZen ("we", "us") provides PDF tools through this website. This policy explains what information may be collected, how it is used, and your choices.

Important: Many PDF tools process files in your browser without uploading them for that step—but this site may still use cookies, analytics, and advertising technologies that collect or process data as described below. Those layers are separate from local file processing.

What we process

• Tool usage (client-side): Many tools process files entirely in your browser. Those files do not leave your device for that processing unless the specific tool clearly states otherwise.
• Server-assisted features: Some features (for example certain conversions or optional server-side encryption) send data to our servers or third-party APIs only when you use those features. See in-product notices where applicable.
• Payments: If you subscribe to remove ads, payments are processed by Stripe. We receive billing and subscription status as needed to provide the service. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Advertising (including Google AdSense): If display advertising is enabled, Google and other advertising partners may use cookies, mobile advertising IDs, and similar technologies to show and measure ads, personalize ad experiences where allowed, and limit how often you see an ad. This can involve collecting or processing information such as your IP address, device and browser details, pages you visit on our site, and interactions with ads. We do not receive your PDF file contents from client-side tools solely because ads load on the page—but the ad scripts themselves are a form of tracking and measurement on the site experience.
