How PDF conversion works in PDFZen

Convert to images walks each page with pdf.js and writes PNGs — good for slides or preview pipelines. Extract text streams text out of selectable PDFs on your device. Server buttons appear when LibreOffice (soffice) or a cloud converter is configured; otherwise you'll see clear errors instead of silent uploads.

Privacy

Browser paths avoid sending your file to us. Cloud conversion follows your provider's policies — only use it when you accept that transfer.
