About PDFZen

PDFZen is a focused suite of PDF tools—merge, split, compress, convert, sign, and more—built for people who want an Acrobat-style workflow without heavy desktop software or opaque upload sites.

Privacy and where files go

Many tools run entirely in your browser. For those flows, PDFs and other files are processed on your device with libraries like pdf-lib and pdf.js. They are not sent to our servers for that step. Always read the on-page notice for each tool; a few features (for example some conversions or server-assisted protect/unlock) only run when you explicitly use them and send data to our infrastructure or a documented third party.

That “local-first” model is separate from how the website itself works: like most sites, we may use analytics, and if advertising is enabled, ad partners (including Google) may set cookies and process data for measurement and ad personalization. • Honest disclosures about client-side vs server-side processing

Our blog publishes practical guides (compression, merging, sharing limits, and similar topics). Those articles are meant to help real users—not to pad the site for algorithms.
